I had an appointment to look at bridesmaid dresses yesterday at La Belle Bridal. When we walked in the door, the store was not at all what I expected - very messy and disorganised, with no real change room just a sheet over a door to their back room. 2 staff members were working - the owner, and a young girl. The owner barked at us that we were late and would not be getting a full appointment - so we could only try 3 dresses. I would have understood, we were 15 minutes late, had she not said it so rudely. From that point on, the staff treated us like we were a huge inconvenience. They did not ask any questions about my wedding or what I wanted in a bridesmaid dress, and at one point while I was standing right there the owner began complaining about me to another bride who was trying on dresses. I grabbed my bridesmaids to leave, and the owner came over and started again barking at me that we were late and she doesn't have time for lateness as she has other appointments. I told her that her customer service/treatment of us was appalling and that we would be telling our friends and she said something like "oh would that make you feel good?? do you want to wear a sign??" it was honestly the strangest/worst customer service experience of my life. I was shaking with anger when I left.
